Fabbrica: record contract for 350 Park Avenue in New York

Fabbrica LLC, the US Somec Gruppo flagship co. and part of Horizons, has been awarded a contract for 350 Park Avenue, the new office building being developed by Vornado Realty Trust in the heart of Midtown Manhattan, New York.

The contract covers the production and installation of over 900,000 square feet (83,600 square meters) of curtain wall façades, with execution and economic effects expected between 2026 and 2032.

Designed by Foster + Partners, 350 Park Avenue will be one of the most distinctive buildings in mid-town Manhattan new skyline: approximately 1,470 feet (448 meters) tall over 62 floors, with around 1.9 million square feet (176,500 square meters) of space for over 6,000 workers. The project features progressively set-back volumes, full-height glazing and landscaped terraces, with a high-performance envelope designed to contribute to energy efficiency and the quality of the work environment.
