ESG stands for ‘Environmental, Social and Governance’ and refers to the three key factors in measuring the sustainability of an investment. This concept has evolved into the ESG factors, which are now the cornerstone of Sustainable and Responsible Investing (SRI).

The Shareholders’ Meeting is the authority that expresses the will of the shareholders, through resolutions that are taken in accordance with the law and the Statute of Somec S.p.A.

The Sustainalytics company assessed SOMEC SpA according to the performance of ESG factors following the company’s decision to undergo an independent assessment by Sustainalytics. The aim was to improve its transparency towards stakeholders and to continue on its path towards sustainability.
