FY2023 results: revenues growing to 371 million euros (+12.8)

The Board of Directors of Somec S.p.A. approved the draft financial statements, the 2023 non-financial statement and examined the consolidated financial statements as at 31 December 2023.

Group’s revenues are growing by 12.8% to 371.0 million euros and confirm the solidity and resilience of the core businesses, the recently named “Horizons”or naval architectures and civil façade. At the same time, they highlight the strong growth of MESTIERI high-end interiors, which reported an increase of 37.3%, approaching the threshold of 100 million euros (95.7 million).

“The growth in revenues in 2023 – declares Oscar Marchetto, President of Somec – demonstrates how our Group operates in a business in great turmoil, both in Europe and in the United States, and is able to express dynamism and ability to adapt to the evolution of the markets . At the same time, the results of the year highlight critical issues caused by some extraordinary and limited events, the consequences of which had a significant impact on margins. For this reason we have implemented various internal reorganization measures and investments in processes and their digitalisation which will favor a progressive recovery starting from the current financial year“.
