Budri and Ceolin contribute to RH Milan’s landmark hospitality destination

Somec Group companies Budri and Ceolin, part of the Mestieri division, have contributed to the creation of La Volta, the restaurant at the heart of RH Milan – The Gallery on Corso Venezia, the new Italian flagship of the renowned luxury design brand RH.

Located within a meticulously restored 19th-century neo-Renaissance palazzo in the center of Milan, the seven-level, 7,000-square-metre destination combines architecture, hospitality, design and retail in a single immersive experience. International media have already identified it as one of the most significant design and hospitality openings of the year.

For this prestigious project, Budri delivered a wide range of bespoke stone solutions. The company created the dramatic entrance flooring, combining limestone, burnished brass and rare Afghan onyx, as well as the monumental staircase, stone-clad walls and all marble finishes throughout the bathrooms. Every element was designed to create a seamless dialogue between materials, architecture and the guest experience.

Ceolin played an equally important role through the realization of custom metal interior joinery and the striking steel-and-glass vaulted structure that floods the restaurant with natural zenithal light. The transparent architectural feature creates a compelling contrast with the restaurant’s stone-lined interiors, enhancing the atmosphere and reinforcing the project’s unique identity.

Together, Budri and Ceolin demonstrate how Italian craftsmanship, engineering expertise and material innovation continue to shape some of the world’s most ambitious luxury hospitality environments. A project that confirms the value of Made in Italy know-how in transforming architecture into a cultural and experiential destination.
