Revenues at €280MN in the 1st nine months 2023

The Board of Directors of SOMEC S.p.A. examined and approved the management data relating to consolidated revenues as of 30 September 2023.

In the first nine months of the financial year, the Group recorded revenues of 280 million euros, a significant increase compared to the 228.1 million recorded in the corresponding period of 2022. The performance, equal to +22.7%, benefited both from the organic development of the business (+16.3%), and of acquisitions (+6.4%, entirely to the benefit of the MESTIERI division).

Business volumes are robust, with the naval architectures and civil façades benefiting from the progress of orders and MESTIERI accelerating its pace, in line with the development project we have planned for this division. Despite the complexity of the context, which presents various elements of uncertainty, there is no shortage of opportunities for further growth. This is demonstrated by the optimism coming from the cruising industry, with significant orders expected as early as 2024 for new ships and refitting of existing ones, while the positive signs also continue for MESTIERI Italian craftmanship, increasingly appreciated by high-end international clients“.
