MESTIERI awarded new orders for over €21mn.

SOMEC continues to grow and wins a series of onboard interiors orders worth €21.1mn.

The agreements concern the subsidiary TSI, specialized in interiors aboard cruise liners and part of the division; they consist of a total of 6 contracts (2 of which as options,) signed with the French shipyard Chantiers de L’Atlantique and with shipowners Silversea and Crystal Cruises.

The first two contracts – awarded by Chantiers de L’Atlantique – relate to two newbuild super-luxury liners at the Saint-Nazaire shipyard, in France. The value of each order is €3.5mn, with delivery scheduled for July 2024 and June 2025 respectively.

Two option contracts were also signed with the French shipyard, for a total of €6.8mn, relating to two newbuilds.

Two further agreements concern the refitting of three cruiseliners. The most significant is related to the structural modification of the Silver Endeavour, owned by the ultra-luxury cruise operator Silversea, for a total of €4.7mn.

Lastly, Crystal Cruises has entrusted TSI with the refitting works of Crystal Serenity and Crystal Symphony, worth a total of €2.5mn.
