Fabbrica USA wins a new project worth 29 million dollars

Fabbrica LLC, the U.S. subsidiary of Somec Group and part of the Horizons division, has signed a contract for the construction of the façade of a hospital building in Hartford, Connecticut (USA).

The contract value totals 29 million dollars, with expected economic impact between the second half of 2026 and 2027.

The project covers a nine-story building within a renowned healthcare complex that has been at the forefront of training, research, and advanced surgical care for over a century. Recognised as a cornerstone of both Hartford and the state of Connecticut, the complex is a symbol of medical excellence and innovation.

Specifically, Fabbrica will design a bespoke curtain wall system spanning over 11,000 square metres. Distinguished by its advanced technical specifications and striking architectural design, the system will encompass every phase, from initial design to full engineering implementation. The project is scheduled for completion within the two-year period 2026–2027.
